3 Astounding Programs and Adherence
Overwhelming numbers of great programs can be found floating around the web. Yet this makes it especially difficult to settle on one. I see individuals lack of results stemming from their in-ability to adhere to one of these programs for an extended period of time. It is often a lack of adherence to the program which is the issue, not the program itself.
To achieve results we must pinpoint the source of this lack of adherence. Is it that we expect rapid results, jump on anything new, follow the hype, lack belief in our program or simply get bored? All these factors are usually involved but I believe it all derives from a lack of belief in our program. This non-existent belief leads to an absence of results as we are not fully committed, which in turn steers us towards boredom and un-satisfaction, the cycle concludes with the search for the new, exciting or popular program. Well until we lose belief in that program, and then repeat the cycle…
I’m inviting you to kick this cycle by using these programs as a gateway to adherence. I have selected these 3 programs because they can be trusted. They’ve all got fantastic reviews from the public but I have also tested them personally – with clients, friends and myself. They work. Trust in them and stick to them for at least 3 months, no excuses. I don’t care if you stumble across the “secret program of NFL players”, 3 months. You’ll be amazed with what you achieve.
CANDITO TRAINING HQ
Emphasis upon the basic lifts in this program gives you immense focus before and during training, you cannot wait to get to work. It also helps you release the beautiful simplicity of mastering the rudimentary lifts and how important they are, this kind of simplicity triumphs everything. The use of periodization not only provides great results but tonnes of fun. Every week is different; you follow both strength and hypertrophy rep schemes as well as a few cool challenges such as 10RM’s. A well rounded program for anyone looking for both strength and size, which made me release that powerlifting is about mastering the compound lifts, not just grinding heavy sets out.
I stumbled across Jonnie Candito’s program via YouTube. Jonnie Candito is a young powerlifter who is one of the strongest pound for pound collegiate athletes in America. If you do choose Jonnies program, make sure you donate a bit of cash because this is a great product that he is giving out for free, when most take your money for crap products. His YouTube channel is also crammed with great info – worth checking out.
JIM WENDLERS – 5/3/1
5/3/1 is one of the best programs out there, it combines structure with versatility. I’ve personally followed this program for massive stretches of time as it is addictive, interesting and a great way to guarantee strength gains. Each session begins with a heavy compound lift – bench press, deadlift, squat or overhead press, this is where progress is made and tested. Then everything after that is down to you, Jim is very relaxed about the “assistance lifts” because he’s a pro but he does offer countless template designs to keep things interesting and direct you towards your goal. Although you can find 5/3/1 on the web for free, I highly recommend purchasing his books as they contain many initiative training methods and solid philosophies, which cannot be found online.
You could argue that this is a training “split” not a program but I do offer a free push/pull/legs program – this is what I’m referring to. This is the most versatile of the three programs as it offers numerous exercise variations. It is a fantastic program if you’re a natural bodybuilder or your looking to achieve a more aesthetic physique, it will build more muscle mass than the other two programs due to the higher volume. It also has some focus on gaining strength which is vital for natural bodybuilders. However, it will not reap the same strength gains as the other two. A fun, versatile program which is aimed towards increasing both muscle mass and strength.
In conclusion, there are a lot of Astounding Programs on the internet but success is found in adherence. It doesn’t matter if you jump between the best programs out there, sticking to an average program for a long period of time will still give you substantially better results. These are three programs you can believe in and adhere to, trust in them, they work.
